  ScenarioWizard

An efficient and complete calculation of all consistent scenarios requires an evaluation software which applies the CIB algorithm to the cross-impact data. The software ScenarioWizard was developed by the Center of Technology Assessment and ZIRN in order to support the application of the CIB method. It was used, tested, and developed in various method experiments and applied projects. A basic version of the ScenarioWizard is available as a free download. It enables the execution of the basic evaluation procedure of CIB, i.e. the generation of a cross-impact matrix and the calculation of the consistent scenarios. You are asked to inform us in the case that you use the software in applied projects in order to update our application reference documentation. Reports of experiences and problems are very welcome, as well.

Please read the legal information in chapter 11 of the manual before installing the software!

The new version of ScenarioWizardBasic shows several improvements: version 3 is ready for Windows 7, the dsl editor and the help system were reworked and the operation speed of the software was increased approximately by factor 3.

- ScenarioWizard Basic 3.2 Manual (pdf / 3,5 MB)

- ScenarioWizard Basic 3.2 Program (1,5 MB) for Windows XP, VISTA and Windows 7

The full version of the ScenarioWizard is designed for particularly complex and extensive analysis tasks. It is available on request.
